Been using this set up for over a year now.. Straightforward and easy.. Loud enough if I want it to be but mostly for home use... IMG_20210618_161615.jpg

Love the Tweaker. Those are really cool amps. I went with Tung Sol EL-34's, when I had one. Then, I bought a Two Rock Gainmaster 35 head and no longer needed the Tweaker. Very different amps, though. PPIMV. vs non thing. Loved that tube buffered f/x loop!

Heh, and people think you can't get good Marshall tone from Dumble type devices...I beg to differ...Ethos TLE!

    Great playing, btw!

How do you like that? I have had those little guys on my radar for years and never pulled the trigger.

6L6 in mine. Just put a whole new set of tubes in which has really made a difference (Amp was bought s/h a fortnight ago). Wasn’t initially impressed if I’m honest, but the new tubes made a great improvement.

That Marshall cab is a tad dark for my liking though….

It sounds great used as a head with a 2X10 or 1X12 cab.

    Whew...I don't feel so bad now, seeing everyone's collections:D.

    This... ampoid.PNG ...

...a Blackstar SuperFly Street Pack with extension speaker and speaker stands...

...and an DV Mark DV Jazz 60 and a Quilter 201 Tone Block. I also have several other "small" amps banging around, but don't really consider them minis.

Paul Weller really using his little Peavey 30…. But with a big Marshall stack behind him to look like a big rock boy. This little amp is the the sound of the Jam from All mod cons onwards.

Love the amp, but couldn't help noticing the book. "Mickey Baker's Jazz Guitar," a great book for jazz chord voicings that can be used for more than just jazz.

Pignoses are good little amps and built solid.

A Fernandes Skel-Zo from the '90s or early 2000s. It's got kind of a chimey sound.

Vox MV50 "Rock". The cabinet is an old Peavey Rage with a 6" speaker that my son's high school garage band blew up. I threw away the chassis and replaced it with a piece of aluminum angle, thereby making a cabinet matching the head's miniature size and portability.

Plug the head into a 4 ohm 2x12 cabinet, and it transforms itself into a big boy amp and a great-sounding "Marshall".

From the bass world, I'm a big fan of my little PJB Double 4. 75 watts through 2x4" speakers. Yes, I was sceptical too, but the sound is enormous. Honourable mention too for the PJB Bass Buddy on the left of the Double 4 in the 2nd picture. I use it as a headphone amp, but it can drive a cabinet.

This thread has shown me that what I consider my "big" amp (most powerful of my amps) is smaller than what many consider a mini.

I paired mine with a modern Greenback in a small 1 x 10 cab. Lead Series, white tolex. Small and tight, closed back. Went with a ,"Doug's Tubes," matched set. Seemed to work out well, in the short term. Never know though, long-term can be totally different.

Wow, more Trace Elliot, stuff? Kinda surprised! They totally remind me of Peavey's and Traynors.

I didn’t even show my Quilter or DV Mark heads because I didn’t consider 200 watt amps small. But they are small size-wise;).

Here are two cigar box amps I put together!
The Vox is one of my absolute favorites. It sounds so good with all guitars and lap steels.
