i LOVE this Blackstar ID:Core 10 - Stereo - 2x6" speakers right beside me when i want it.
My Fender Mustang 1 v2 handles the brunt of the at home playing time.
I remember it was much louder than it looked!
Here's a little fire-breathing one watt beast. 12AX7 preamp, 6N1P power tube; controls are volume, tone, power, and standby. In a homebrew cabinet with real-deal blue Naugahyde and black Tolex, and a Chevy muscle car badge from 1965. It sounds like a Plexi when it's dimed.
Technically not exactly "Mini" but small...
Just built my first Champ. It sounds fantastic! The Strymon Iridium is pretty great too.
My little old Velocette
Blackstar HT1R & home built 5F2A Tweed princeton hiding in my old Fender Frontman
I love mine too.
The parents and their sons
Wow, that's great! If I were in the market now, I would try to hunt down a Suhr Corso, or a Fuch's, Lucky 7 II, or an Emerysound micro. That tiny tweed sure looks killer!
How about one of the most iconic of the small amps the Pignose 7-100 and my favorite small amp my Mesa TA-15
Chicago Blues Box, wtf? As a player who is originally from the Chicago area, I had never heard of these amps. Really cool!
If I correctly recall your original post footer photograph, showing a collection of guitars, each a different colour. Am I seeing a theme here?
Wow, that’s quite a memory you have. It’s funny, the mods made me remove it because people were complaining that it was distracting. I replaced it with Godzilla tail-sliding for a while. Some people were hating on that (though the mods did not comment) so I eventually replaced him with an Elvis quote. So far, so good on that one.
I must admit to not being a Godzilla fan, but I would have thought the mods might have been more wary of the amount of digital memory the photo required. It was a large image.
My own memory used to be very good, and having accompanied my dad on many occassions, can still remember most of the questions and answers the medics ask to check for dementure (Mr Smith, 32 West Street, Kensington being the answer to the trickiest question), but sadly it is going to the point that my wife now insists I get it checked out. That said, I'm sure I'm not the only one who remembers the multi-coloured image, boasting rather a lot of pointy headstocks for a Telecaster forum.
The Minitwin, is a just fender toy amp. But it has gone to many battles and parties and most of the tweed is actually wine and liquor spilled. Not bad if you have a party and there is only one acoustic and a electric. At least is barely usable.
The Marshalito has a line out and it really is good throught a 1x12" or 2x12" cab. Here is a link to a IG video I made
