    With my post count now in the 990s, I'm about to have my posting odometer roll over to 1000 posts. What happens then - do I get a door prize, a cake with a scantily clad woman or two jumping out of it, a ticker tape parade, learn the secret TDPRI guitar riff, or just the ability to reach post 1001 with my next post?

    Ooh, I like that idea.

    But I was thinking, it would be nice if TDPRI awarded me a cat. My current cat keeps ordering gear for me but her paws are getting tired from all that mouse clicking and she would like a break. At least I'm not asking for a pony.

    I was Tele-Afflicted a long time ago. I think I have enough Teles already to qualify for that status, but I'm running low on cake and beautiful women.

    So I have to reach 5000 posts before being taught the secret guitar riff? Damn.

    I'd be motivated enough to outrun them to steal the cake and get their phone numbers.

    So, it turns out I've already passed the 1k milestone, and I didn't even notice!

    No fanfare, no visit from scantily clad women, or cake. No one has offered to show me the FOURTH chord, and I still don't know what THAT (above) is, although I've seen one somewhere...
