Great song. I believe that it was in the "Hard Days Night" movie too. Such a classic old Beatles song!
It was. Great movie.
remember people... thats well over 50 years ago
I always loved the scene in A Hard Day's Night when they're rehearsing this song in the TV studio, especially when the roadie (Shake) puts George's Vox amp on a stand, George leans on it, and it tips over. You can almost see the smirk/laugh on his face after that happens. Maybe if it had fallen all the way and busted, the Beatles would've become known for instrument destruction like The Who? The path not taken... (thankfully)
Blink of an eye . . . one of my favorite Fab 4 songs, thanks for posting.
Almost! Paul's voice famously cracks on the second "vain." Don't listen for it unless you want to hear it for the rest of your life!
I believe they fixed it on the mono mix, but it slipped through on the stereo.
Still, one of my favorite Beatles songs to sing along to.
Loved the way the Beatles would sing the song title in the first line of the song. Not many bands do that.
Great song from the greatest band.
one of the weirdest, coolest opening chord sequences in pop music
John and Paul... man...
Kind of like those persian rugs made by hand where they always left one imperfect stitch because only the Lord can create something absolutely flawless.
I did it! I went back and listened! And you're right!
They were human after all!
Yep...I had to listen on youtube...the isolated vocal...I've listened to this song since I was 5 and never noticed !! It's at 1.45
One of my favorite BeaTles songs. Lennon’s acoustic guitar, George’s picked Ric 12 string, the harmonies, Ringoks windshield wiper hi hats and subtle fill. Exquisitely performed.
so romantic and sholtzy great melody, tugs at the heartstrings
compared to Another Girl
She said she said is a a confused romance is any body hearing the other person.
John could write a silly love song too.
John's demo for "If I Fell"...
I always found this interesting.
