Very clean looking footage. They were so damn good together.

I kinda' miss BT but it's been nice to enjoy some recent Beatles threads without all the unnecessary noise. :)

I may have mentioned before that I'm not a big fan, although I fully and freely acknowledge their place in history.

But I'm quite looking forward to seeing this.

Of all the bands in all the lands, U2 is my least favorite.

I wonder if Disney+ offers a free trial period.

As long as I can get it on Blue-Ray at some point. I don't think I'll ever be in a movie theater again.

I imagine the Blu-Ray will come pretty fast.

I was wondering the same thing. I don't believe Disney has the word "free" in its vocabulary or business model.

Has there ever been a six hour movie in wide release?

Nope. I see that they offered a 6 month freebee for a while but that has been suspended.

Oh well, I never liked the Beetles anyway. (sour grapes).

That trailer is compelling and moving.

    To me anyway.

Isn't it in 3 parts so yes, 'Lord of the Rings' which was even longer and necessary, and The Hobbit, which should have been one movie.

Of course all are Peter Jackson, but I do get your point. But I think it's really financial. When they already can't fill seats and are probably having a hard time keeping the lights on, they're not going to want to show a 6 hour; or three 2 hour long movie that is not going to bring in revenue close to what something else might, while occupying the theater time.

It's a pretty niche audience that is going to be attracted to watching this. I'm one!

A must see for me. Some of the best that ever walked this planet. So great together. Not bad apart either.
    Will be watching!

I, for one, welcome our old insect overlords and will gladly recruit Blowtorch to work in their subterranean Apple mines!

As you indicate here, you don't have to be a big fan to appreciate the story, and it's a great story, with a remarkably condensed timeline, with a beginning, middle and end, and an interesting and at times very sad postscript. Hell, I really liked the Rush doc and I don't care for them too much. Similarly, I recently watched docs on each and every one of Genesis albums and I only listen two or three of them occasionally.
