    Absolutely.

They can keep spending money in those letters. I don't have a TV!!!

A friend of mine talked to them and filled a form about he hadn't any Tv but he told me that after one year they started again so never bothered

It's the only TV I'm prepared to pay for. When I go on holiday later in the month my laptop will be loaded with Killing Eve Series 2, Years and Years, The Looming Towers and Gentleman Jack, all downloaded (legally) from the BBC iPlayer. Should be enough to get us through nearly three weeks without TV, internet or even phone signal.

    I enjoyed this plenty.
Kinda funny though how according to this, the "new hip" things in guitar are slide, and looping

No it was about Bass in music altogether, they addressed bass singers in Doo-wop songs pretty early in the episode.

The BBC's mission, famously, is to inform, educate and entertain. Such is the role of a properly run public service.

If these days that is an anachronism, then consider me an anachronist. With anarchistic tendencies.

Then there's the zillions of radio shows with loads of good music, all on iPlayer Radio and Sounds.

I tried to watch the BBC when I was in the UK a few years ago. It was like the alternate universe version of the BBC I had enjoyed watching in the 70's and 80's. Everything was back to front and upside down.

Thanks for the link though, I will check it out.

Yeah, but it seemed out of sync with the guitar & drum episodes that were, well, you know...about guitars & drums.

    Very interesting.

This guys guitar is different. Look at all the knobs even though it only has one pickup. Also, the fingerboard goes all the way to the bridge pickup. One other thing I notice is the fingerboard is very sculpted.

Actually no, there's more to Roth's guitar than you'd think.

There's hidden pickups underneath the fingerboard.
