I try to watch and listen to what they are playing and ignore the rest, and hope people do the same for me. An hour in front of a mirror shouldn't have to be a pre-gig ritual.

That guy can play! On top of being as long as anyone on tour off the tee, having an all around great game, and putting like demon, he's LUCKY too. I think that's why he's already won three majors! Yesterday he hit a shot that could have bounced either way, it bounced onto the green, and he made birdy. I've seen him hit chips that were going 90 miles an hour that should have gone off the green that hit the flag and went in the hole. He also trains like a guy playing football. He had his vengeance against Tiger yesterday grinding him into the rough until you could hardly see Tiger's head as he surveyed his chip back into the fairway. Anything can happen, but the rough is making the pros there look like weekend warriors at the muni. If he doesn't get drunk and fall down the stairs like someone we won't mention who didn't play the masters one year, he will probably sack up another major.

there is no such thing as virtue. Meaningful events are meaningless. Chaos is the natural state of the universe. We're doomed!

I could see the argument that life has no inherent meaning, but I'd respond that this only makes it more important to find your own. So pick up the tele and play, right?

I was a member here over 10 years ago and almost a year now. Here's my observation of the difference of then and now.

Not convinced many here play a tele. Many may own one but not their #1 if they own one at all.

Haven't seen Redd Volkaert, Bill Kirchen, Brent Mason, Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Roy Nichols or Don Rich's name mentioned here much at all that I've been noticing. At least in general discussion.

It's more like The Gear Page Lite.
