Saw this on Facebook and thought I'd share.

“The only reason I did it was because the security was not there — They were two steps behind. I am watching Mick’s back. I don’t know where this guy is gonna go… You know it’s a kind of automatic, instinctive thing… I just watched my man’s back.”

“Did I push him too far off to Charlie’s drums, so I would screw up the drumming. But I didn’t and the guitar was still in tune.”

    Teles are beasts...

Love that clip. At least it wasn’t a Les Paul.

Considering what happened to Dimebag...that was gentle.

This was not long after Lennon got shot to death. They were on edge.

Iconic moment. And he carried on playing afterwards like a boss.

I always thought the telecaster would effectively double as a weapon of blunt force trauma. Keith proved me right.

I’m gonna guess that was a reference to how easy it is to break the headstock on a LP.
But since I love Lesters, I’ll go with your answer:cool:

This vid makes the rounds every couple years. Like the Prince vid playing While My Guitar, its tame stuff. Keith can barely manage the weight, let alone make much contact with the sap. Yawn to both.

that - and a reference to the boat-anchor mass of some (including mine)

    Get clobbered w/ 10+ lb hammer - maybe not wake up . . .

Eternal wisdom and I'm sure we all have had to learn the hard way.
    • Never walk behind a horse
    • Never trust a fart
    • Don't sneak up on a junkie
    It's all so obvious now.

I read somewhere that Richards bailed the dude out of jail after the show. Doesn’t mean it’s true, just that I read it.
