Danny White was the QB for the Dallas Cowboy while Tom Landy was the coach. He released "You're A Part Of Me" as a single in 1983 without much commercial success.

And Danny's wife was a happy woman that evening, and so was Danny. The End.

I once saw a country single by Terry Bradshaw in a record shop, about 40 years ago. Bradshaw can actually sing!

Bradshaw cut an entire album. It was featured a while back on the "Bizarre Albums" podcast. Not really "bizarre," per se; the podcast features a lot of "celebrity" crossover albums in addition to the truly strange ones. From what I recall, Bradshaw's was solid and he probably could have made a go in music.

I remember the Bradshaw album. I also remember seeing a cardboard cut out advertisement at the barber shop when I was a kid. Terry Bradshaw endorsing a product to prevent baldness. How'd that work for ya Terry?

Update: Found something similar to what I remembered...

I just remember Mel & Tim’s early 70s hit “ Backfield In Motion”.
I think Mel & Tim were (famous?) football players.
    I know nothing about football.
    Thanks for listening.

Almost as weird as Hogeboom showing up on Survivor. Danny wasn't much better as a quarterback than singer in those days either as I recall. Following Saint Roger was a tough bill, but they were in the wilderness behind center for the entirety of the 80s (until that Aikman kid showed up in '89, the year I started hating them).

I haven't watched the game in years, but the other White will forever be my favorite Cowboy. Sit down, Ronnie:
