Imagine that, even an amp rejects Grolsch. ;)

A container full of liquid on top of an electrical device?...

    Shame on you!

Roadie rule number one: No drinks on top of the amplifiers!

Why? It puts your beverage closer to you and far away from your amp. Or you can put your beverage on your amp and hope for the best

i was somewhat peeved at first...then a bit of a twit...soon got over it...got another amp...without top vents...wasnt same...got another AC30...they were as cheap as you like then..you could get a dust coated neglected one for absolute peanuts...wish now i had bought a garagefull.everyone wanted the latest fizzamp...and back in biz so to speak.
we had a booze up and barbie on beach as the amp blazed away...with our acoustics...better safe...lol...that was a fun night
    ahh memories

Believe me, I totally get the practicality of a cup holder on your mic stand. It's the optics that bother me. Kind of like leaving a Snark on your headstock while performing. (Oh man, I didn't just open THAT can of worms again, did I?)

    Or cargo pants. ;)

What ever blows your skirt up works for me. I’ve lost dozens of pedals to beer/cocktail spills but not one amp

BTW, I also have an iPad on my mic stand because I have a bad case of CRS and it’s growing into CRAFT.

I also don’t care what anyone thinks about my stage appearance. That’s their problem not mine

Being slightly older than Odin, I too remember when things like AC30s, Marshall metal-panel JMPs, etc. could be had for virtually nothing ("what, no master volume? Only one gain stage? Phhhttt...")

those beer rings, and cigarette burns are battle scars displayed by a tried and true bar room hero, shellac the hell out of it and call it a day

Should have slapped on Minwax Polyshades Honey Pine -- that stuff is as tough as nails if you're worried about stains on tweed.
