I grew up in northern Ontario and moved out west to the coast about 30 years ago so I don't see that stuff very often. When I look at that picture I can smell it and feel it and the colour of the sky is so familiar. It's in my DNA...at least in my blood. I had an immediate fully sensory feeling of being back in time. But yeah, now it would likely be a PITA.

Wide, low angle shot. The blade is not as large as it looks.

MDJ - you can keep those things running forever, as long as you are willing to keep putting money into them. MDJ will probably need a clutch soon.

The last time it snowed in my town was 1976. I don’t know whether to be jealous or grateful :)

Polar bears in Winnipeg? Maybe in the zoo.

My friends when I said I was moving to PRVI: “Oh, you won’t like it, it rains so much.”

    Me: “You can’t shovel rain.”

And yes, Winnipeg’s polar bears are in the zoo, but I also lived in Churchill.

We don't have enough, lets swap. You send your snow down here to Australia and we'll send our heat. You can send it all if you want.

Here in northwest Germany it just rains. Grey and cold weather, not inspiring at all.
