This just popped up on my Facebook feed - by a company called Starr Guitars. Never heard of them, but they've created a Tele-Paul hybrid.

Not sure if it's inspired or an abomination!

    I like it!

I have a Fender TC-90, Tele-style, but double cutaway, with 2 Duncan P-90's that's suppose to be a stab in the same direction...

Wonderful, versatile guitar with clarity and GUTS (if you want it).

    It's nice looking.
If it's Fender scale length, I would be all set.

I built this one in 2011 for the TDPRI build challenge.

It is super nice. I always noticed the tele and paul body shapes were not that far... It sould have had a tele bridge abd pickup and all would be petfect.

Totally agree.. If it plays half as well it's a winner? Mike Simpson P90s flavor version looks great too!

Yeah, I thought that too. Too much Paul to Tele ratio - but it is surprisingly nice looking.

V nice. Still like to see one with a Tele bridge though. Anyone make one like that?

A Bigsby and a tele bridge. Gold parts. It would be killer. And leave the 4 knobs paul controls. Mmmmm

I hate the LP's placement of the pickup selector. Also not a big fan of the 2 Tone/2 Volume setup, personally.

I much prefer a setup like this... Picked one up for $400 a few months ago.

Someone posted that same guitar in a FB group. It seems a lot of people aren't too keen on it, but I just assume they've got a Gibson fetish, and have something against any 'Fender' type guitar.
