Which one do you tend towards .
    A few examples , if I may .
    Engine and motor .
180 degree crankshaft and flat plane crankshaft .
    Mac and PC .
    Hubcap and wheel cover .
    There are so many .
    Where do you stand ?
I will go first . I tend towards precision/accuracy . It can be annoying to some , but that is me .

Precision for me too. You can't convey your intended meaning if you don't both agree on the definitions of the words.
I'm an engineer at my 9-5, so I'm sort of wired that way anyhow.
