Looking at a headphone amp. How is their buyer protection?

I've been looking at 3d printed wargames miniatures, and it seems like you just gotta be picky with your sellers.

I ordered some $10 bracelets and received them just fine. I felt pretty safe. Didn't feel at any time that I required protection.

My neice sells on there. I thought it was all handmade or homemade items. They must have branched out.

It's kind of handmade crafts meets garage sale.

They own Reverb. It probably won't be long and you will be able to buy hand knitted bras and OD pedals from the same place.

I purchased some tomato plants on etsy. They came smashed and unusable. The seller said "that's the way tomato plants are shipped".... $25 out of pocket.

Bought some luthier jigs/templates, all went fine. One of them is even really really useful!

Ordered a Christmas ornament a few years ago. It was on time and as described.

I’ve bought a few things off of Etsy. I’ve always had good experiences.

    I sell on Etsy.

It's pretty safe and tilted towards buyer protection.

Check seller's feedback and if 5 star you should be fine. IF an issue arises you can file a claim and usually win. Paypal will cover you as well.

Never had a problem. But be careful. I’ve seen some expensive watches being sold dirt cheap. They are most probably fake.

I've purchased some things and found the descriptions aren't very clear, left feedback about it and never got a response. Be wary of single page descriptions for multiple versions of similar products. Other things were okay. Hard to tell which sellers are professional about things or not.

I've had great experiences on Etsy. However, I only buy hand-made artsy items there as that's what it's for. If I were interested in specific headphones, I would purchase them from an authorized retailer if I wanted buyer protection.

I thought Etsy was like Pinterest. I have no knowledge about this. Do I want to know? It sounds like something to hide from my wife.
