I'd love it if anyone who has owned or has tried out the Kustom Contender could tell me what you think of it.
I saw one used in a store near where I work and was instantly intrigued. The looks roped me in, first and foremost, but I also like the size and features.
I have already gone through most of the old posts on this amp here at tdpri, and have watched the handful of YouTube videos that are out there.
Apart from your general impressions, I'd also like your opinions on the following topics:
1) How much clean headroom is there?
2) Can it sound Fender-y?
3) Can it sound Vox-y?
4) Do the EQ knobs have a major effect on the tone, or are they just for fine-tuning?
5) Is it pedal-friendly?
6) How dramatic is the bright switch?
7) Any practical troubles?
8) How does it compare with the Pathfinder 15R (which I own)?
9) How does it compare with the Blackstar HT-1?
10) Am I the only one who wants to spell it "Kontender?
Please feel free to answer whatever other questions I am failing to ask as well! Thanks in advance.
