Tell me about a Pro Reverb (and how it compared to a 65 DRRI)...

Thank you, Danny. I will keep a look out for the transformer. The twin is a great clean tone and is great for the fiddle on gigs. :)

That is the description I was hoping for.
I am just looking for another amp for the dance hall gigs that will have more clean headroom than a deluxe. The tube rectifier and pair of 6l6 tubes reminds me of a '69 super reverb I got to borrow for a few gigs. That was the perfect wattage for the gig. Just looking for the 2x12 configuration like the twin, as I have found that this set up helps my fiddle's amplified tone best. I am liking the clips I have found of pro reverb amps so far!
    Thank you! :)

The Pro is big and bold. Lots of bottom end due to the 2 x 12. It's as big as a twin though. Just a bit lighter. Fortunately Pro's tend to be a bargain on the market.

A good Silverface PR can be one of the best bargains ever.
