Some, if not most, Fender Bullets - 81 to 83, USA built are really good except for the pickups; if you like weak single coils, then the pickups are yours.

Mine is an '82, S-3 (Strat shape, 3 pickups). I replaced the pickguard along with all the pickups with DiMarzio velvets, the pots with new CTS, the 5-way switch, and the jack. The original MOTS pickguard is in a box should I ever decide to sell the guitar.

The neck is from a Telecaster and is very comfortable. Hard-tail 6-saddle bridge.

    Find one if you can.

Due to a genetic quirk, some, but not all people, can smell ants. I believe I'm in the ants-don't-smell camp. I'm not sure if that means I have the quirk, or am quirkless.

I saw the front fuselage of the Enola Gay at the Silver Hill restoration facility of the Air and Space Museum in the early 90s. I didn't get to sit in it ,of course. It was being restored but was not put on display until 2003.

I can smell ants. I was climbing a utility pole and my task was to remove a streetlight mounted on that pole. I removed the light and steel mast arm to which it was mounted. I then removed the bolt that holds the mast arm to the pole and out boiled a nest of ants. It stunk to high heaven. Now, it you're referring to the ability to smell a single ant... alas, I am unable to do that.

I've been trying to think up a good (real) reply....

OK, heres one that came to mind:
After doing some quick math, I concluded that in the last 45 years I have driven (and worked on) even by conservative estimates- well over 20,000 different cars...

    Kinda shocked me.

I saw it in the Silver Hill facility...but the docent wouldn't let us near it.

The lady next door, when I was a kid, told us she dated Paul Tibbetts at some point.

Yep damn fine guitars but for me the neck was too skinny. Still miss it though.

If it starts raining and a horse seeks shelter, it won’t rain for very long. If the horse just goes about his business when it starts raining, it’s going to be a soaker.

I’ve filmed oral history interviews for over 15 Veterans. Four are at the Library of Congress, Veterans History Program, two of which are Pearl Harbor survivor stories. I was a volunteer and interviewed, filmed, did sound and edited the interviews. They can be viewed online as can many other Veteran interviews. Search Duck Duck Go for LOC VHP.

I once got asked to leave a "baby shower". They threatened to call the police and I threatened to call "false advertising". (kidding)
