It’s been a great 10 years. But we’re shutting it down.

My partners and I have simply reached a point where we need to let this go. The difficulty in obtaining CuNiFe has finally caught up with us so we’ve decided to stop here and go out on a high note.

We currently have enough materials to make 15 Limited Edition CuNiFe pickups and sincerely hope they all find a good home before January 2018.

We would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt Thank You to everyone who has ever dealt with us or simply contacted us with a question.

As many of you know, the Wide Range Humbucker had been my pet project ever since this started with my attempts to re-create the former glory of an original ’72 Thinline I used to own. I am so thrilled at not only recreating my old 72, but in the process, meeting the fine people who would eventually form Telenator Musical Electronics.

We have had the rare privilege of working with some fine players we never dreamed we would ever speak with, or meet. And in the process make some small contribution to the sounds we now hear coming from their instruments.

Watching some great footage of a player ripping out soulful tones through our pickups is truly one of those great life time moments. It has been an honor to serve all of you.

As of December 31, 2017 Telenator Musical Electronics will officially close the doors and we will all move on to other things.

My email will still be active and we will continue to support all of our products in the field as long as materials allow. Although we seriously doubt anyone is going to have any issues.

Thank You everyone for making this the experience of a life time. For a brief, shining moment, we were the ones making the only true vintage repro of the original Wide Range Humbucking Pickup in the world. And we’re really proud of that.

Play your Telenators with abandon!

We are also entertaining any reasonable inquiries concerning our remaining intellectual property and trademark.

Thank You everyone. Play on!

Sad to hear this--just as I've started to come around to wanting a set of the real deal WRHB. Maybe a set of the last to come out are in my future...

It's all good. I'm tired and looking to do some other things. It's been a great run and we made some beer money. As anyone will tell you, don't look to make your fortune in the guitar pickup biz! LOL! It's ok. We did for the love of the adventure! Thank you for the kind comments.

Machinable magnets make for a special business indeed! Your documented journey into WRHB technology was a delight to witness -- thanks for sharing.

Good luck with you're future endeavors, I've always heard your pickups mentioned in high esteem with great attention to detail. I'm sure those same skills can be used to do just about anything. Keep in touch.

Thanks for all your much needed advice/help! Definitely wouldn't be nearly as big a fan of those wide ranges without you. Nothing wrong with wanting to do something new. Good luck!

Aw, man... awful news. For us. Thanks so much for "forwarding" the WRHB quest for all of us with your info, data, and products. I've learned alot from your posts over the years. I want to get another set of MOD1s before it ends....

We were not the first to modify the re-issue pickups, but i think we really raised the bar. We have been very open about everything we've done in an effort to share as others do. This stuff isn't rocket science, it's actually harder! There are no "customers" or irate competitors in rocket science! LOL

Wish you well. Loved your t2s.

Are you going to continue your acoustic guitars for handicapped business?

Thanks man.
Ergo-Vibe is pretty much a dead issue. It was a really great invention that no one seemed to care much about. I'm baffled but, that's how these things go sometimes.

Sorry to see you close up shop, but I do understand. I have really enjoyed reading your old posts when you were researching the original WRHBs, and I thought it was really cool that you used to offer to recharge the original CuNiFe magnets for free (maybe you still do this.)

I had a few questions about the volume and tone controls for these awhile back and I really appreciated your advice and expertise! Best of luck to you Telenator, I hope you stay active on TDPRI!
