Hi all, thought you might like to see my latest build. I always wanted to make an offset guitar and combine it with my love of teles. The body is sapele, chambered for weight relief. The neck is maple, with a nice bit of flame in it, with a wenge fretboard. Yep I'm a sucker for a big old goofy 70s strat headstock so added that too. Standard tele wiring with vintage cloth, orange drop cap and 250k pots. Pickups are wilkinson which sound great. Let me know what you think of my attempt. No templates were used for the body, I mainly looked at picks and drew out what I wanted on the wood.

Very nice! Glad to see more pics if you've got them.

Is that binding I see or just colour differential on the top? Also curious about what kind of finish you used. Cheers.

Thanks, yes it's black binding to match the pickguard. I used osmo polyx oil for the finish, my new favourite finish. Here's a few more pics.

You did a great job—I’m especially fond of your pickguard design. I went with a more tele-style shape to mine, but yours has a swoop to match the offset body in a beautiful way.

Thanks, appreciate the kind words. I just wanted something a little different, though I do love the tele style pickguard too.
