Thinking about replacing the stock white on my red tele (Midnight Wine, to use the correct nomenclature) so I need some inspiration. Either your own or favorite you've seen out in the world or web.

Go!

(I'm a fan of paisley myself...)

^ Every time I see you post one of those I like them a little bit more.

Kinda the perfect marriage of a LP Jr and tele guard. As someone who does some design work, I've got to say you have a good eye.

This is my 1996 Fender Standard Tele:

The picture is an actual cover off the Beatle's "Blue Album" - sandwiched under a clear Plexiglas pickguard I got from Chandler pickguards (pickguards.us).

Note of caution: Some 22 fret Fender necks (with the little overhang) might not work if the Plexiglas is too thick, since the gap between the neck an body might be too small.

Otherwise, just find your favorite album cover (with a picture that'll fit within a Tele shaped guard) and voila! Instantly cool pickguard...

Good Luck!

Prospective/angle of the shot is awesome. Your eye and prospective is applauded by me for one. You added you own distinction to that collective my friend.

Been there, done that. Jigged and routed a overhand shaped recess in the lexan to [play/slide nice nice under the overhang. ;)

Here's an idea that's already taken:

No, I will not make somebody one of these. I don't much like making them for myself and I need to make some more.

Absolutely love this and always wondered if you would make and sell these. Guess my question is answered. Looks like I'm just gonna have to try and copy it.
