I ordered a couple of these from his EBay store. They came darn quick and he also refunded part of the shipping that EBay put on the order. They are really nicely made!

Are they smaller in diameter than the usual Tele knob? They look like mini knobs, which is kinda cool...

I don't normally dress up a guitar like this, but I keep looking at those colored aluminum skirted Strat knobs. Not something you see everyday...

Those aren’t knobs, they’re Tele pickup switch tips. ✌️

He did the same thing for me via his reverb shop; refunded the extra shipping when you order more than one.

They are very nicely machined...quality work...and that includes the slip-fit slot that takes in the flat blade of the switch.

Interesting. I had to open up the slot a good amount in order to latch into positions 1 and 5 so I assumed the throw was longer. Seemed a lot more than .010 on either end.

I received my Forney, brass switch tip yesterday and really like it. Its solid and machined very well. Came with an allen wrench for it also which was a nice touch. Lots of good options out there, but Forney was great to deal with. Plus they have so many color options to pick from. I ordered from his Reverb shop.

I snapped a couple pics of it on the guitar. I went with brass to match the saddles.

If you mean the difference between a super and a 4 way, your math is off by a decimal place. The 4 way is 0.19" longer in total, or about a tenth of an inch each side. Not a hundredth.

I wish someone would create a Fender blade switch with a threaded tip for LP type switch tips. I swear I'd by 10 of them for my Teles and my strats.

I really dig the Forney stuff and their brass ones are really nice!

No, I was talking about the difference between a standard 3 way and an OG 5 way super switch. You listed the super switch at 1.00, and an original 3 way (normal slot on control plate) at 0.979, with a total difference in length of 0.021. Divided in half, that would be an additional 0.01 at either end of the slot. I know I opened the slot up more than that, but I might have erred on the safe side by cutting it longer.

    Gotcha.

    To further beat the poor nag, I typo-ed the 4-way. I said 1.19, but it's 1.119, or 1.12.
