It should come standard on every tele. That and the 4-way switch

I had a bunch of electro sockets in my junk box, gone now. Recently purged the junk box of parts I had no use for.
I pull them and either return the guitar to a Fender jack cup or put in a Rutters Jack Cup.

I prefer the Rutters too. My recently acquired Noventa has an Electrosocket and I have no plans to change it.

I have never seen them in anything but chrome or nickle.
That doesn't mean you couldn't have one plated
I doubt Rutters would do a one-off, but there are all sorts of places out there that will do small quantity plating.
