What is your favorite color combo body and fret board? Mine is this
Taste the rainbow ;-)
Hard not to like a Black Guard BSB
I love my #1. Fiesta red with rosewood.
I'm partial to natural with rosewood.....but I wouldn't kick any of 'em out of bed!
Oh...and tortoise 'guards.
I'm partial to Clear Coat Natural finishes.
I built this a few years ago.
+1 Fiesta Red and Rosewood

... or a 3TSB w/maple 'board and white 'guard.
LPB, white pickguard, with a maple fretboard is probably my favorite. Of course none of my Teles look like that; I've got two natural and one white.
Wow. Haven’t seen that in a long time
do you know that I did that composite?
Always loved the Rosewood Teles. Good call.
Natural Ash, Butterscotch, and White.
Cool. Nah didn't know that I just did an image search using duckduckgo.
I'm so glad I found my faded sonic blue 60's Baja on CL used at a good price. I like it

The great thing about a simple design is that it can carry almost anything. I’ve always said it’s hard to find a bad colour for an old Beetle, and teles are kind of the same way. My tele is BSB/blackguard, and I enjoy just looking at it. I do jones for a CAR with rosewood, though. And really, almost every picture here looks good to me.
I've always liked dark natural on almost any guitar or bass.
Half the reason I bought this guitar was the sound, half the looks.
It's also a little unusual to see a dark Tele with a dark board.
It sounds warm, with just enough Tele snap to satisfy that Tele sound.
Everyone should try one.
Candy Apple Red with Black Guard looks great on any guitar with Rosewood or Maple fretboard.
I love the "real" Tele colour - BSB with a black guard:
I also love a surf green with a rosewood board:
And then there's the all-rosewood version:
But I think my favourite would be this:
(Pics aren't mine, by the way - just found them for illustrative purposes).
This works for me. (black pickguard and maple fretboard are absolute essentials.)
