Anyone have any great ideas for a Telecaster-themed tattoo? Maybe something a little abstract that only those "in the know" might recognize?

Just cover your arm completely in pink paisley.

Ha! I have tattoos...at this point in my life I’m working on bodybuilding and I wish they weren’t there, throws of my symmetry/washes out lines

I probably won’t remove them but if I had to do it over with the brain I have now I’d have second thoughts

It WAS unique about 30 years ago

I know I’m gonna p-off the tattoo fanatics with that one “well they’re all different” yes....but the concept/image isn’t

At this point in time it’s more “individual” to not have them

Oh oh oh....get off my lawn

    Headstock silhouette?
    Brass saddles?
    Black pickguard?
    Control plate?

Six ferrule tattoos on your back. Three saddle tattoos on your chest. Or the same concept on the inside and outside of your forearm if you want people to see it.

Get a t-shirt instead. I'm not anti-tattoo, I'm pretty heavily covered myself, but I've seen so many God awful guitar/guitar related tattoos that I'd skip the idea. Seems like it would be hard to get a really good one and a good candidate for "what was I thinking?" down the road.

Headstock decal backwards on your forehead so you see it in the rearview when you are driving.

Or the subtle outline of the upper bout with a diagonal but very vague bridge pickup shape and nothing else.

There’s a reason certain traditional tattoos have stood the test of time, and it’s not because panthers are an important animal, it’s because their aesthetic suits the human body.

    Guitar tattoos don’t look good.

Depending on your body shape that tele might be mistaken for an old jazz box

    I’ve seen the dots before

And you’ll be perpetually having to tell people what it is

If your Tele is in fact a “Fender”, then try just the famed backwards Fender “F”. That will cover you in case you use a Strat too!
