Funny - I usually don't have my Strat sitting out, but I put it back into rotation the other day and I was amazed how many "Strat" tunes instantly sprung from my fingers. The two models certainly are different!

I have a Telecaster. I also have two Stratocasters, a Gibson SG and a Gretsch Anniversary. Which is best? IDK. They’re all really good guitars, better since I’ve set up and personalized them. The big advantage of Telecasters is how easy they are to service and modify. My guitars range from MIM through CS. An MIM Telecaster is about the most bang for the buck there is in a guitar.

Hmm, maybe.

It's definitely in what I consider to be in the "Big 4" of Electrics.

1. ES-335
2. Telecaster
3. Stratocaster
4. Les Paul

This is all you need, basically.
Same here. With the Tele far ahead at the top. Best electric guitar ever made.
