Tele Stand

I've been looking for a Tele stand that doesn't require the guitar to hang from the head stock. I have a Hercules hanging stand that I use for my Strat but don't like the way the Tele head stock fits. I went to some local shops yesterday and came across the Hercules mini guitar stand:

I was skeptical about the stability of this stand, especially living in earthquake country but this thing is surprisingly stable. It's rock solid even on carpet. I paid $35 for it at my local Mom and Pop shop but noticed that MF has it on sale for $24. Definitely recommended for Tele owners who don't like to hang their guitars from the head stock.

I just bought two from Jack's Music in Conway, AR. Your evaluation of this stand was right on. Thank for the tip.

I use the Hercules iStand. I like it because its small enough to throw in the case, and...its low enough for my tele to stay under my synth (I play keys too) when I'm not playing it. This way, its easier to get to on a crowded stage, and I can keep it within eye-shot all the time.
