    Hi good people of TDPRI,

the quest goes on, learning to play,
here's an attempt on covering part of Jobim's classic song, The Girl From Ipanema,

the tele was wonderful and didn't even complained about the player

thanks for listening and like always comments/critiques are very much appreciated.

hello miguel, i don't want to pick on you, but there are 3 notes sounding a bit wrong. The 1 st note, the bit at 19 seconds, and the one at 29 seconds.
Whenever i get the huevos to record something, you will be free to lash out ! ;)

I like the tune though. I don't think i would be able to play on that rhythm.
    Could be interesting though.

    Girl from ipanema?

@johnny k , if I only have 3 notes sounding bad then I am an happy man!:)

the idea here was to get the feeling of the song and kind of jam except for the most recognizable riff that mimics the singer's voice. This tune is much harder than I first thought and that rhythm doesn't let you play slow to think about your next move.
of course it's very unforgiven to each note.

this was actually my 3rd take on the looper, the one I liked more, the one I think I made less mistakes didn't feel very enjoyable to listen, kind of boring for me to listen actually.

    and yes, Girl from Ipanema

thank you for your reply, it's really cool to have somebody to take the time and point out the mistakes.
I probably won't notice any mistakes when you get those huevos to record something

ah ! i wish dude. You are a more courageous man than i am. The guy who doesn't post song doesn't get criticism, and only critics the fellow guitar player.

If i make it, record a song, i will tag you. Might not be bossa nova though.
Keep on posting those bits ! i like them.
