Because I'm old, and I don't sell things, I now have a lot of guitars and related musical things. I like what I have and don't really lust for anything else. Playing is the real joy, and I find I can get that joy from playing almost anything I own. I have many different guitars and I don't care about scale length, radius, neck shapes or widths - all of that is just variety, and at this point I should be able to make music on anything. On the rare occasion that I do buy something, my main questions are "how's it sound? how's it play?" The rest is just numbers.
Strictly home player now. Have been able to buy guitars and amps for their unique sounds. Necks don't bother me in scale width or thickness it only takes a minute to adjust to whatever guitar I feel like playing. My only problem is the household space twenty plus guitars and nine or ten amps take up. All the guitars live in cases when not in use.
I just like playing a variety of equipment.
