just dropped in to say my Squier CV Telecaster came 2 days ago and I'm nearly speechless. It's just so freaking good. I started playing her this morning and have stopped only for nourishment and to post this. One more thing - I paid $298 + free shipping. Unbe-friggin-lievable. Please God let me live another 30 years so I can meet my grandchildren and play this guitar every day, (along with all the others). Amen.

Mine gets played 1-2 hours a day.

Most fun to play guitar I have ever owned and I have owned 35-40 guitars since I started in 1966.

    Congrats.

Glad it worked out and congrats. Have heard great things. Heard a few comments that say they are fun to play. Meaning easy to play??

And surprised no one has said pics please. Enjoy her.

Real easy to play I think its the low frets they dont slow down your hand going up and down the neck. And fun to play cause the guitar doesnt fight you and its an inexpensive guitar so you arent afraid to hurt it playing it hard.

Thanks to all and I guess Mark's reasons are as good as any! All I know is my 73 has a rosewood fretboard and the diff is like night and day. plus I'm also a big fan of Les Pauls and SG's, have a few of each. So what I like is the "chunky" feel of the neck, kinda like an old LP but the smooth gloss of the finish on maple. I just can't say enough good things about her!
