I am thinking of a warmoth strat 7/8 body with a neck strat pickup and a tele bridge pickup.

But warmoth only offers either sss or swimming pool route on their 7/8 strat bodies.

Will I be able to fit a standard telecaster bridge pickup in that swimming pool route - with the standard tele bridge?

    Appreciate the feedback.

A sharp chisel and hammer can solve any mounting issues that hide under a pickguard.

I have mounted a Tele bridge pickup into a strat pickguard over a swimming pool route without needing to modify the body, but the issue in your case would be the bridge plate. That I have not tried.

My assumption would be that the route is the same size on a 7/8 as a full size as pickups and bridges are also the same size.

tele pickup rout is slightly bigger than a humbucker rout (but a different shape). a while back I was researching whether a bezel for a bucker would cover a Tele bridge hole and it would not. one little corner exposed. dunno if that helps

Thanks all for the feedback. Zepfan and Bluestwanger, without the standard tele bridge, how does the tele bridge pickup sound?

    Appreciate the feedback.
