    Don't modify this bass!
    A cheap Telecaster costs 80€ (80$) plus...

Another vote against messing with this instrument (assuming that it intones well and sounds decent). I think it's pretty cool as is.

Plenty of Tele guitars around but what you have there looks pretty unique.

Sure ya wanna do that? That’s the best looking Tele style bass I have seen, by far.

Of course, it's yours to do with as you please, but the consensus here seems pretty unanimous.

I first saw your bass in some search I did some time ago, which brought me to this cool little club. It is unique and has an off kilter gnarly-ness that definitely draws attention. If I ever get a Tele style body, yours is the template I will follow.

If you do tear it up though, takes lots pictures.

That’s too right to mess with. That’s how thinlines should be. Man, I’m in love.

That's an overwhelming response/reaction. Nice to hear such positive feedback. Glad you're going to leave it intact.

Convert it to a Bass VI, use Fender Bass VI strings, play bass on the lower frets and guitar on the higher frets.

But yes you could get a Tele for cheap these days. A Squier or Rondo offering for 150 to 300 at decent quality. Converting would cost that so you get 2 for one.
