I think it's a match made in heaven. I did a gig last night with my Tele (Bootstrap Pretzel pickups)into an OD-3 and my Monoprice 15 watt. I got to open up the amp a bit and the tone was awesome. The bridge pickup especially sounded great. I've been using a Caline Orange burst and Pure Sky and they sound good too, but I think the OD-3 is the best with the Tele.

I just recently picked up an OD-3 and I have really been enjoying it! I sometimes stack it with a DS-1.

I love the great tones I can get with cheap, used and unwanted Boss pedals!

I use an od3 with the tele and Marshall jtm30 in my sig. The clean channel is gorgeous on the amp and with the od3 i can get that lovely creamy vintage Marshall kick from it. I've only got two overdrives, the od3 and a bd2 - they are brilliant stacked.

the od3 doesnt accentuate the mids and highs so much that the tele twang has and adds some bass there. kinda similar to the nobel od IMO

If you have a chance to record your next gig or rehearsal...or even just do a home demo with a cell phone camera, we would love to hear it.

IMO, and especially with a Tele, the OD-3 is Boss's crowning achievement.

The pedal is on a very short list IMO of sounding really great stock. I have two with very targeted modifications that I love even more, but I'd never say that they're better than what Boss decided on. More like just a bit of different flavoring.

If I could have only one boss pedal on a desert island, it would be an OD-3
