For those looking for something to do:
I did this and posted it a few days ago lol...
Wow...great work guys....really. A very moving song.
I fade out around 3:00 I may have exported a lot of dead air.
Thank you Alan, a great Roy Buchanan tribute.
No one like him with the exception of his genius guitarist and tight friend Danny Gatton. Two guitar geniuses living together as young adults starting out on the scene. I can hardly imagine what they got to live through.
I didn't know at first this was a backing track, but then I read a bit further a day later lol,
Okay, had some time to sort this out today:
@estreet - A beautiful rendition Carl. Great tone and melodic integrity.
@Mjark - A great version - you made it your own. Very nice production and playing.
@ASATKat - Tender and emotive - nice!
I can no longer edit the thread title but it does indicate TDPRI "Challenge" and the backer has "BT" appended to the track title. Sorry for any confusion.
@Alan L Cole - Ouch, nothing to see here - please move along.
Well, I'm glad I found it.
Went this way for this one.....
Sweet and warm, beautiful wet effects. Have you heard Roy Buchanan's original version?
This is for everyone that hasn't heard this iconic tune. Heck it's for those that have heard it too.
Wow guys, I've been having such a blast listening to all of the jams you all post week after week. Most of my stuff is in storage, so I'm not in a position to do much recording on my crowded laptop at the moment, but I have a version of this one I did about 12 years ago for Harmony Central's old jam thread.
A different place musically. . . 12 years younger (I was just a kid of 50 ;-) )
