Just a recommendation for this freakin' great reverb pedal - I was looking for something simple to put in the FX loop of my old Marshall 2554 Silver Jubilee and found this baby. The sounds are incredible off-the-shelf already, but it's really mind-blowing, what you can do with the tone-print-editor. You can assign three fx-parameters to the single pot of the mini-monster. If you choose e.g. Modulation Type, Decay and Modulation Depth, you can easily have 5 presets on different location of the "reverb" knob. With the attaced setup, I managed to have the following sounds available:

7 'o'clock: small room, no chorus
10 'o'clock: larger room, no chorus
12 'o'clock: large room, chorus
2 'o'clock: larger room (like 10), heavy chorus
5 'o'clock: vibrato, small room

Wonder, if anybody else had good applications (i.e. smart selection of multiple parameters for the knob-selection) for this "dial-a-preset" approach to the pedal.

Well done, TC Electronic!

The Tone Prints and Tone Print Editor is one of the great things the tc pedals have going for them. It's standard feature on my bass amp and on my chorus and vibrato pedals. They're also extremely well designed and built. My boost pedal is an older Red Classic Booster + Distortion that's the last pedal I would ever sell.

I agree, the Toneprint editor is really sweet.
The setting on my HoF mini is currently using the church setting. It is a nice and small yet subtle room size to start, and then extends to a little larger room/hall size and depth, and by the end it is a HUGE cavernous hall that I use for swells. I love being able to adjust 3 parameters with one simple turn.

How do you store 5 settings? Does it just automatically store up to five? What if you store 2, is from 6 to 12 one setting and twelve up the second setting?
Oh, and can you plug the pedal into your guitar/amp while using the toneprint editer?

Using the toneprint-Editor, you can store up to of 3 parameters for up to five knob-positions. If you choose only three positions (e.g. 7, 12 and 5), that's fine. You will have transitions for the chosen parameters between each position while turning the knob.

Oh, and can you plug the pedal into your guitar/amp while using the toneprint editer?
Sure! Change something in the editor, turn the knob and hear the result immediately! You don't even have to store it to the pedal first!

Looks like a great tool. How does it react to fuzz/distortion pedals before it? My FRV-1 produces digital artifacts and that's why I'm looking for a replacement.

I guess I overlooked the fact that the mini HOF would do the TonePrint stuff, and I held out for the next size larger. (I think they also have an X2 or something that's probably the largest size before it has to be a rack-mount unit.) Amazing stuff for such a little pedal.

I'll need to figure out all those features once the HOF (and the Shaker Vibrato and maybe a FlashBack Delay/Looper) get here. That computer interface almost looks like it's too high-tech for me.

Heck, I haven't even played with the (TC) Ditto Looper that I bought last month, another of those small-but-amazing pedals. I might fire that up later today.

I have some TC Helicon VoiceTone Singles effects, too, but I can't experiment with those while La Wife is home. :D

Thanks. I got a pretty good price on a B-stock one.
I'm looking forward to experimenting with the Shaker and HOF. Missed out on a couple of used FlashBacks today, but there will be other opportunities, I'm sure.

TC makes some pretty cool effects.

Another delay, that seems to be overseen is the T.C. Electronics Nova Delay or the Repeater (which is a non-programmable version of the nova). Has more options on subdivision (and looks great!).
