TC Electronic Cinders...nice affordable overdrive!

    I was playing at one of my local stores and wanted to try a couple overdrives. One of the workers recommended I try a TC Electronic Cinders.

    I really wasn't expecting much at all, but it's a really nice overdrive! Very transparent, natural sounding gain, true bypass. You could have told me it was a $100+ boutique pedal pedal if I was blindfolded and I would've believed you. I'd be happy to have it as my main gain on my board, and for $40!

    Recommend checking it out. I was impressed.

    I reckon in a blind test a lot of people wouldn't be able to identify a $40 pedal from a $240 pedal. You purchased with your ears, not your prejudices, so well done to you.

    They sound good with fenders and other more balanced amps tonewise. Didn't like it on a Marshall type.
