When I first heard this, it turned my musical world upside down. I had heard all sorts of avant garde music and improvisational Jazz but this was different. I had to rethink everything I ever thought about rhythm guitar and the approach to composition. This track was Earth shattering for me. Perfection and chaos at the same time. This may be the most progressive track in modern music. That's how I see it.

Oh, HECKS to the yes! I coming from a ‘70s rock-morphing-into-jazz-fusion when my college roommate turned me on to this, Gang of Four, etc. Both of us shared a love of Bowie and Floyd, but this shiz blew my mind ...

I just bought their greatest hits cd a couple of weeks ago. It just reminded me of what a great band they were. Every song is excellent!

I saw them live a few times after this album came out. Still some of my favorite shows. Have you heard Angelique Kidjo's interpretation?

Grateful Ape, I am on your wavelength. I have that on LP and it is stellar. I am a huge Adrian Belew and KC fan. Great musicians, very inventive.

Tina kills it here. Such great rhythm. That is why Talking Heads have inspired me so much.

What's amazing is how much is going on, how every player is kind of off on their own individual journey, yet it all coalesces so brilliantly. Talking Heads were on another level.
