    I too once thought I needed a drill press. I thought long and hard about the need, the lives I would save, the advances I could make to modern medicine. In the end, the risks were just too great. I decided that in order to spare humanity the indignity of my need for excessive and perfectly vertical drilling, I would instead put all of my resources into this:

    Mine's even simpler, you just put the hand drill through a circle and tighten. Fine for me, only use it several times a year.

    I guess if you must use a drill press daily it might not be good. I wouldn't know.
