I am thinking about getting a few t-rex pedals.. Like the yellow drive, crunchy green frog and swirlyverb... Does anybody have any of these pedals... They seem well built and sound great... I am just not sure why they're not getting talked about much in here. As usual your feedback and input: will be appreciated.

Thank you so much. I got an Ibanez ts9dx tube screamer last week. It is still not cheap pedal, however the guitars natural tones get sucked up by the pedal... So that's what they must mean by transparent... I guess that's where the extra money comes into play on my Wampler tweed 57 and even my TC Electronics spark boost.. The technology is just different... The pick attack and natural tone of the guitar is just there.

I had a Reptile delay for a while. It is a slightly cut down version of the Replica I believe. It delivered the *most* gorgeous analog tape delay style repeats. I flipped it eventually because I found it somewhat bassy sounding (dark?). That said, if I found another I think I would try it again with the better amp I now use. Great build & audio quality.

To me, the T-Rex stuff always seemed kind of expensive... is that just because of the exchange rate from where the company is?

Perfect example:
Gristle King direct from T. Jauernig: $229
T-Rex Gristle King: $279

I've got the T Rex Twin Boost and I think its a fantastic 2 channel booster. 3 band EQ for each, so its very usable. beautifully built, so I've got nothing but praise for T Rex.

I have early editions (dinosaur logo) of the Mudhoney and Alberta and both are great. The Alberta can do the Robben Ford/Scofield type tone while the Mudhoney is more classic rock and really beefs up single coils.

I also have the Møller. It's very good for blues or folk-rock when you need a little dirt. And the clean boost is really handy for soloing. A transparent overdrive. I usually leave it on all the time.

T-Rex says, "It was developed in 2003 for a well known Danish guitarist called "Knud Møller". He plays guitar for Johnny Madsen and has also made solo albums. He needed a good tube screamer with a clean boost. So we made him that pedal based on the Alberta."

My local GC was selling them on clearance last week. They had a reverb one called the Room Mate...get it, room "mate"...for $50 brand new. I wanted to buy it because it seemed like a deal, but I just don't like reverb. Well, I do like the sound of reverb, but it doesn't suit my live rock/country electric guitar playing I guess is what I mean,

My only experience with T-rex was with the Whirlyverb. IMO the the reverb sounded too metalic & the chorus was way too harsh & unusable for me.

Yeah...I tried that too...really unimpressed...no character at all.

I was just talking this pedal up on another thread. It's a valve powered unit and sounds lush. In the UK it was £230, so $50 is a*great* deal.

I do not have any of the above mentioned boxes . . . but i do LOVE my Mudhoney II.

Great Co. with fantastic products.
Very sturdy and sweet action/feel on all the knobs.
