Hi guys, I never saw a Klon in person. Is it possible that this little fella does basically the same thing? I found it used and it’s really „transparent“ under the blue paint .

    I have one. It’s a Tubescreamer clone.

Not familiar with the T-Rex, but I can tell you that a Klon/Klone is far from transparent. They have a mid boost and rolled off high end.

It's probably just a TS, but I tried one in a shop and really liked It.
It was quite trasparent and It seemed not too middy, but I admit I just spent ten minutes playing It.
I look around sometimes for a used one (even if I already got a TS and an SD1) and the rarely pop up. Good sign... :(

Good pedal for the money - found one about 5 years back for $50, but just wasn't into TS style pedals at the time, so I passed.

Not a bad pedal to have in the herd.
