I saw those, but lefty with 3 p90's in it. But that Bigsby looks like a good fit!!
We'll see. Its a GFS wiggle stick.
It's gotta be better than the goofy jazzmaster trem on my SX JZM62, pictured below, beneath other SX brethern:
I looked at Rondo and I didn’t see one with a Bigsby, ok it’s not a Bigsby, but with the cut out at the bottom it looks like it could be made specifically for this guitar.
Anyway, let us know how you like it.
Yeah this is a cobbled, uh, I mean customized job. I rather like the little notch at the base of the body. I recognize the trem as something GFS used to stock. The seller claims it's a Wilkinson roller bridge, too, so, things ought to be ok. I certainly will report back
Cool. A Flea Market had one down from my house. It was left handed.
Those are cool. Always wanted, but never pulled the trigger. Can't get my tone from P90.
YES! I'd been wishing Kurt would find a stash of these again. The notch came toward the end of the run.
They were SJM's/Liquids with a trapeze tailpiece & I stupidly never bought one. I always knew a B7 or such would look excellent on there.
A SJM was my first Rondo guitar & I still own it. I like the P90's.
Great color too blowtorch.
Ya got a roller bridge too!
OK so a bacterial eye infection has kept me off of here, but this has been a NGD since Saturday, and I'm loving it.
It's a little heavy, which I knew going in, as I already owned it's fore-runner, the SX JZM62. But thesde P-90s sound better than what I remember the 62's sounding like (I Still own it and didn't bother comparing), and it's great to have a tremolo without the goofiness of the jazzmaster style one.
It's a little on the trebly end, and I've found it's best to keep the tone at about 2/3rds
This guitar is completely redundant for me, in about three different ways, yet I am well-pleased
Can you take a pic wearing an eye patch?
Thank you, thank you... no please you're too kind.
I have the Liquid in blue, with 3 p-90s. It has this great, baseball bat of a neck. The previous owner even applied silver foil rally stripes on it. I made the deal for a delay pedal, but ended up really digging the guitar too. (this is not the actual guitar, but the same model)
I loved my Liquid when I had it. I've had 3 SX guitars and 4-5 Agile's over the years. I really miss my SX Callisto Jr., which also had P-90's.
How are you doing?
Hope your eye is improving.
Fender Gyrl how are you doing? Hope you are improving.
I'm doing better Thank You.
Had a rough August. Been on Dbl Doses of meds this month.
Just finished them up today.
Went to Rondo.com and they have a few Liquid guitars, all with stop tail pieces though. A Duesenberg Les Trem would be a good addition.
My brother has the hard tail w/2 P90s. It was a little neck divey so he moved the strap button and now it hangs perfectly.
Here it is in action last night
