I'm overwhelmed! I figured a song or two, what a cool think to wake up too. Thanks, I like most of these songs.

The lyrics can't be about be about the Rocky Mountains or New York City. ;)
Oh... the lyrics.
(I can't hardly understand 'em in spanish)
So you must be still laughing on my Dylan's 'Highlands' post.

Anyway, beside words IMO there is some kind of febrile lay down atmosphere, a monotonous thing were time goes by 'n by, and nothing changes.
I love this sort of songs when sailing oceanic with my buddy. We play that 17' song quite often. 'Isis' is another long good one.

Thanks

Swamp musical genre concept.
In my mind it should be mainly a 1 chord and repetitive Riff song.
Am I wrong?, would you add...?
I would think of a general feel to the music rather than a strict 1 chord repetitive song.
And tremolo.

Cajoon, Bajou, Zydeco, Polka, Folk, Appalachian, Bakersfield, Honky Tonk, Tejano, Country, Blues, Funk, Rock, etc

None of them are Swampy 'per se', but all of them can be.
What is the point for you... beside Lyrics.
