I've posted them before, but wanted to give them another look. Yes, it's formulaic and they are a hired band for small venues, but their talent is evident.

I wish I was so formulaic if that meant I sounded so good and booked such gigs.

I guess they need a singer ... I'd volunteer, but I wouldn't look so good in a miniskirt. Maybe @Chunkocaster could audition?

I think they’re based here but can’t remember when they’ve played a local show. I’d go.

    Cheers,
    Geoff

They look like a fun band to be in or to have playing when on a night out, I noticed their talent before I even clicked play so they could easily tempt me to join.:)

I absolutely hate them with a passion. They are a pox on surf music. They can't play, they are terrible "musicians" and degrade the genre. They have ONE attribute - LOOKS. If they want to degrade a genre stick to pop or modern country but leave surf alone. Go be a stage act at a strip club or hand out cracker samples at Sams Club.... but leave my music ALONE!

There really is no way of getting my hatred for people who rely on visuals to make their "music" palletable through in plain text.

Ouch, Rumblur. Everybody can't be Dick Dale. Anyway, it's OK to hate.

They're from Canada. Surf's up, eh.

It always baffles me when anyone makes the comment that "they could use a singer". An instrumental band by it's nature means "instrumental" not vocal. I played for over 10 years in a surf/instro band and there was always someone asking "why don't you guys have a singer"? It's amazing that the concept of an instrumental band is so foreign to some listeners.

While these ladies may not fit the image of traditional surf, there's nothing to hate here. They are out there keeping instrumental music alive and should be applauded for it, not hated.
