    My first guitar was an Airline ‘Bobcat’ single pickup job that my mom bought at M.Wards for $35. I was 13. I thought it sounded clunky but that’s probably because all I had for an amp was a converted record player. I traded it for a go kart a couple of years later.

    I wish I still had it and at least had a photo from those times.
