Then there wouldn't be any Spinal Tap.

Or Steel Panther. But that would be a great thing if there was no Steel Panther.

A world without Steel Panther is a better world, all the way ‘round.

Suppose there were no such things as originality at this forum?

    Hmmm, interesting idea to ponder.

With no originality we would get posters copying the ideas from the only original poster at this place.

there are no rules in music, music is art , art is an expressive construct with no rules, only imagination , the only rules in music is formulas that are popular at the time , the only original music is where the artist does not conform to the rules , everything else is mimickry.........

OK I'll climb back under my rock now

Oh we've had plenty of pompous idiocy, plenty of Beatles worship and Beatles Bashing, plenty of insistence that my fave is the only thing that matters, and a good number of court jester types who insist on jumping up and down waving their virtual arms as if they were the bearers of very important news.

You stated in another thread that you were trolling, and claimed to be good at "reeling them in".

While I've yet to read anything original in your generally boring posts, I gotta admit I can't recall any member delivering the sheer quantity of troll posts that walk that fine line where we almost believe you believe your own riffing.
I guess some of us do indeed believe you believe yourself, since you keep the arguments going.

I can't tell for sure and don't really care, aside from the fact that your trolling makes the TDPRI a little less friendly.

    As far as copying?
Looked to me like ridicule, not so much sincere flattery.
But the whole point of the court jester is to present a ridiculous spectacle.
And the whole point of the internet troll is to annoy and incite.

So none of this should be insulting, more a confirmation of your success.
