I think it's a tossup. The 49r's are a better overall team so I'm going with them. But... Mahomes.... who knows! But the Niners D may shut him down.

Should be a good game -- definitely the two best teams in my opinion. I'll pick the Chiefs, their Defense is better than folks think, and picking the team with the best QB is never a bad strategy.

Quest for Six, baby. Ford & Bosa gonna eat Mahomes. KC can't double team the entire SF front 7.

Niners run game will eat up clock, keeping the ball out of mahomes hands the majority of the game. Will be a good one. SF 24 KC 17

Chiefs in a big win. That's my hope anyway.

I don't care who wins... I just know the half time show will not be as good as this one was.

Until I decide for sure who I'm putting my dough on, I believe the two most likely outcomes are: Niners win in a nail-biter, or Chiefs blow out Niners. For the Niners to win, I believe they have to score first (like the Texans and Titans), but then need to stick to their came plan (Unlike the Titans). If the Niners get behind and have to rely on a quarterback that has thrown 27 times in the past two games, I feel that spells trouble. If KC gets ahead early, and the Niners have to change their game plan (which I believe will be to try to run the ball), then it could end up a blowout with multiple turnovers by KC and momentum that will be unstoppable. I can't see the Niners blowing out the Chiefs.

I have some decent numbers in a pool for a change and that's all I really care about.

Jimmy G already has 2 SB rings (New England) so I think Mahomes will get one this time.

Should be a fantastic game, happy that Patriots are NOT playing.

A self admitted Homer, I like Chiefs to win. They have the best player in the league, at QB. I think we can slow down SF run game enough so that Garapolo will have to throw the ball. but this should be a barn burner with two great coaching staffs. I like the over too.

    KC 34 SF 24

The common narrative makes it sound like Jimmy G throwing is a bad thing. Granted, he's unlikely to be dropping 60+ yd bombs - he doesn't have *that* arm, but he's clutch. He's thrown more than enough to prove himself this year.

First score prediction, SF redzone TD pass to Kendrick Bourne.

My impression is that this won't be as much about the players on either team as it will be about the game plans by both coaches.

Not really a KC fan, but i am a Mahomes fan! Garoppolo's experience might make the difference.

Admittedly I'm a Raider fan, so I always have a bit of fun teasing Niner fans, but in all honesty, I can't think of an NFL QB in recent history that throws and uglier ball than Garoppolo. Rarely a spiral. His throws look like a duck with a broken wing.
