Waiting on parts for the ugly amp build started looking at the super 60 chassis that was given to me. From what I have read the Output transformer is the same as what would be on a Bassman. The power transformer is discontinued, I can't find out anything other than what is on the schematic. There are no centertaps so it would have to be a full wave rectifier as it is on the Super 60. I am thinking of using cathode biasing. My issue is that it has considerable more B+, would I use a sag resistor to lower it to more acceptable levels?

Ha! I've got one of those here someone gave me. I was planning to gut it, and rebuild it as something else.

With high B+, I would keep it fixed-bias.
