    If you can find a UK model blackface, you are on the top of the world.

    If you import an early SF or BF from USA, you can carry a step-down tranny. Don't temper with or re-wind your amp mains tranny to 230v - some of the amp soul will go down the drain.

    The RI of my friend was/is horrible. I understand new amps need breaking-in, & the P10R italian jensens sounded crap as expected - but man, not to THAT extent. Maybe it was that particular amp, mind you. It was a sorry & horrible experience, every time I play that amp. Not out of snobbery...I find the TRRI a great solid amp.

    I have done it a couple of times on guitars you still pay vat and duty at customs but you have had a holiday instead of shipping, plus go in cheap clothes and come back in american 501 etc.
