Yes, and there was a "statement" made in the beginning of her set.
The blue lights and the red lights collectively making up the
image of the American flag. Ooops, are we allowed to say American?

I wonder who signed off on her taking that leap off of the top of the dome?

Next year they're going to get an old, wrinkly, gray haired dude sitting on a bar stool playing country standards with a reliced, butterscotch blonde Tele into a '65 Deluxe Reverb.

And you guys are still going to complain that it's not being done right...

Welcome to the forum! Looks like you'll fit in pretty good. You meet the only three requirements easily!:)

I would listen Awasson though, and keep a close eye on your lawn...

    Bring back Up with People!!!

I am just glad there wasn't some other performer popping up through a hidden door every 3 minutes to add their own 30 sec. medley.

I seem to remember reading that the technology of getting the sound to sync with the image for TV was problematic and a reason for lip-syncing (at least for the video feed). Not sure if that has been solved, but that also means it is hard to tell when watching TV. Looked live to me.

IMO it was all sung live. She mentioned in an pre-interview that she practices singing while working out on a Versa Climber because her act is all cardio.

BTW, what about the 300 drones, programmed to look like stars, then forming into an American flag. That wasn't CGI, it was actual drones flying, run by a computer program.

Yea Tap, that was very cool, but, I made to to about the 3 minute mark and went back to the movie I was watching.
It (she) just did not hold my interest, all that flapping dance stuff didn't do anything for me.

It wasn't a Gaga concert, she was paid to entertain the whole country.

Did a fine job in my opinion. Kept me awake at 1.30 in the morning this side of the pond.

She wasn't lip synching - she was singing live.
Just about nobody plays their instruments live at the Superbowl. Not the Chili Peppers, not The Who, not Springsteen.

They have about 5 minutes to set up the stage and start the show, nowhere near enough time to line check a whole band.

I though the Lady Gaga show was great.

Wasn't the song she sang at the piano "real music" in your opinion then?

Who also sang live over a pre-recorded backing track.

I think Prince actually played, in fact it was pouring rain as he played.
