IMHO Prince set a standard which we will never see surpassed for the halftime show.

That said, I was entertained and thought Gaga did great plus kudos to whomever in the NFL signed off on having her perform in the light of the current political climate instead of some kind of jingoistic choice.

I was pretty impressed with the half time show, way better than last.

We could always go back to this in Super Bowl XXI. Go ahead and watch it I Double Dog Dare you! That's right Double DOG DARE YOU!!!!! It was so bad we had to tear down the old stadium and build a new one for the Super Bowl to come back here next year.
This was the last year for themed shows. The next year they had Micheal Jackson do the half time show.

    "DO THE FROSTY"

BTW If you really need to come to Minneapolis for Super bowl LII (I really can't understand why you would) just stick to the downtown areas. We locals still remember what happened in 1992 and it was a major pain in the A$$. I'll be gone that weekend for sure!!!

True, but GaGa and Prince have much in common. Both are the complete package of energy, musicianship and creativity.

I thought it was great! I'm not sure what people expect from a halftime show at the Super Bowl, but I watched exactly what I expected, and I enjoyed it.

I liked it, I thought it was entertaining.

All the dancers was never my thing, but, its very popular now and has been for many years. I expected it.

Was she live or was she lip syncing? I thought most of it looked live but then one section when she was being flipped around and moving very energetically and there wasnt even any volume dropping or anything..

that seemed suspicious to me, I wonder if that one part was possibly lipsync'd... but other than that, could have been all live, hard to tell

I like some of Gaga's tunes. I thought she did pretty well with the performance. I honestly thought that she was going to hijack the halftime show platform to do what most celebrities do these days (if you catch my drift) I was pleasantly surprised she didn't.

Gaga is such a tremendous talent and with her mad skills and money this should have been the best halftime show in history.
    It wasn't.
And that, is why I was disappointed.
    Sorry.
If you got a Porsche that can do 200mph you are not going to impress me doing 60.

I enjoyed it, as did my wife. Her hits are not my taste in music, but there is no denying her talent. Just look at the Tony Bennett tunes, and last year's national anthem performance...the girl can sing. It was solid entertainment. How many of you would have jumped off the top of the stadium?

What else should she have done? She sang her hits. She danced. She had a huge stage with effects and dance numbers that worked on television and were great for a stadium. What was missing? Was she overdressed for you or something? Did you expect some kind of magic show in the middle? Horses? Did she need Horses?

I hate Super Bowl halftime. Make like the regular season. So I do the only thing left, I go graze at the food-snack line.

I am old and tired and impatient, halftime at any football game should be 20 minutes of high school marching band and get the teams back on the field 2nd half. just enough time to let the dog out, take a leak, get another beer and plop my butt down on the sofa with some nachos. 45 minutes of singing and tinsel covered guys with aluminum jackets and jumping from the ceiling is too much

She was flown from the rafters to a tower and finally to the stage -- What, exactly, does it take to impress you?

She's got a heck of a lot more nerve than I do!

Heard enough of her to know that she is an enormous talent. Wouldn't mind seeing her play and sing real music sometime, not the electro-jerk dance bark that fires up the 14-year old girl crowd (and a few TDPRIers).
