I thought it was fantastic. She really sang and really played and I think she entertained people young and old. I thought the start and the drones and the effects were great fun. I can't imagine putting it all together and tearing it down in 25 minutes or so. Wow.

Gaga is not my thing but I thought she did a great job. Bands playing live really don't work because the sound almost always is a problem. I'd rather just see a marching band.

In the absence of definitive information otherwise, I'll assume she's lipsynching. Which is less of a problem for me than for others. It's not a concert.

I found it watchable, which is more than I can say about most half-time shows.

What I want to know more about (and may be able to find out more about, given my sordid past) are those flashlights the 'fake crowd' had. In particular, it was pretty clear that the holders of those flashlights weren't the cones controlling the colors. So the question becomes whether the choreography was tight enough that they just had to wirelessly tell which ones to be which color (fairly trivial with existing lighting equipment), or whether each was reporting its own position with enough accuracy that the controller was using that information also.

    Disappointed, considering.
Depended on #s of dancers for shock and aw.
    Not simply shock and aw.

Very entertaining. You could tell that prepared really well. Singing, piano, dancing, songwriting, no weakness in her act.

    very good performance.

If her music is good enough for Jeff Beck to cover (he performed "Bad Romance" in his 2011 tour), it's good enough for me!

Meh. Over rated. She only did what she had done, not anything ground breaking.
Didn't even dance to her usual level.
Pink crew could have smoked her on the skyline.
    To slow. Unsmooth.
It relied on numbers of dancers. Not substance.
Kept well within the realm of comfort. Not risk.
    To thumbs down.

I watched it a second time, she sang it. This is one genuine talent.

So genuine talent is reduced to 'actually singing' now.

I thought it was very good but could have been better. I think heavy dance numbers were lip synched but that she actually sang when sitting at piano.

I liked it a lot. The dancers and the lights would have been amazing for the stadium audience, especially those in the upper deck.

If Gaga is singing at the Oscars, or with Tony Bennett, or on SNL, she never disappoints. And her hand gestures kill me.
